Hospital Environmental Monitoring System

Hospital pharmacies hold medicines that must stay within their labelled storage conditions, from 2–8°C fridges to room-temperature shelves. Mindlabs Anchor monitors each fridge, freezer and store room in real time over 4G, 2G or Wi-Fi, sends SMS and email alerts on any breach, and keeps a complete record for state drug control inspections and internal audits.
Vaccine Fridges and ILRs
Vaccines are lost if they warm above 8°C or freeze. Under India's immunisation programme, ILRs hold +2°C to +8°C and deep freezers −15°C to −25°C. Mindlabs Anchor monitors each unit continuously and alerts staff before a cold chain break. Blood Bank Temperature Monitoring
Each blood component has its own storage range: blood bank refrigerators for whole blood and red cells run at 2–6°C, platelets are kept at 20–24°C with continuous agitation, and fresh frozen plasma is stored at −30°C or below. Mindlabs Anchor monitors refrigerators, platelet incubators and plasma freezers with separate limits for each, and alerts staff the moment any unit drifts. Laboratory Reagent and Sample Storage
Diagnostic labs accredited by NABL under ISO 15189 must control and record the conditions their reagents and samples are stored in. Mindlabs Anchor monitors reagent fridges, sample freezers and lab rooms continuously, and every reading is time-stamped for assessments.
Medical Freezers and −80 °C Units
Ultra-low freezers holding plasma, vaccines and research samples run below the range of built-in sensors. The PT-100 probe extends monitoring down to −80°C: connect it to Mindlabs Anchor for real-time alerts, or to Mindlabs Nova to validate freezer performance, where it holds ±0.5°C accuracy at −80°C.
